Does the Alcohol industry run Scotland?


Why Scotland will not have a fair Independence referendum. The Scottish media, largely controlled by Westminster, seem unable to report any of the GCHQ Snowden leaks. The English government was so concerned for national security they banned press reporting of the leaks within 48 hours. It seems this had more to do with protecting British businesses who appear to have been and complicit and may even have profited from selling our data to GCHQ and NSA. It has been revealed that GCHQ has access to our banking and medical records, think this may not be a big deal?, but consider your data has value, it’s value is decreasing. http://tacma.net/

We know GCHQ hacked Blackberries at G20 conference, Scottish MSPs will not admit to using ministerial Blackberries, but if you email an MSP, many have limited technical skills and will not remove the ‘sent from my Blackberry©’. So we know they use them, we can also assume GCHQ will be monitoring all calls and emails made by MSPs. Thus leaving Scottish Ministers vulnerable to blackmail from whomever.

We also know the NSA has planted it’s employees across communications and businesses, so we could assume GCHQ have employees in working businesses here in Scotland, we know they operate at Edinburgh University.

Why then is the Scottish media paying attention to a D notice issued by William Hague gagging the press over the Snowden affair?

Does the government in Scotland have any real power? Does the Alcohol industry run Scotland?

Dealings between Scottish Government and lobbyists should be video streamed online so the public is fully aware of how our country is being sold off and how MSPs profit.

The heroin and methadone industry makes millions of dollars for American drug companies at the expense of Scottish youngsters, Scotland doesn’t even own its own drug problem. Scottish MSPs allow this and and probably have a share in those profits. Scottish politicians have a long history of treachery against the Scottish people, but I have a feeling that is about to change, secrets are becoming redundant, especially in governments.

We complain about spam in our email but think little of the spam in our surroundings. In particular alcohol advertising beside schools, how sinister. These spaces could be used for art projects or even lolcats.

The advertising industry criticized the city of São Paulo administration for the Cidade Limpa law, which prohibits all forms of external media and visual pollution such as billboards. Ad companies tried to keep the billboards in the streets with injunctions, but the supreme court determined the law to be constitutional. At any rate, support for the initiative from the public continues to be widespread.

Scotland Medieval Fiefdom

Scottish Independence should include the return of the Crown Estate to Scotland. Most of the estates are playgrounds for wealthy outsiders. Scotland needs a Constitution that protects its people from their leader’s financial interests.

  • The Crown Estate’s energy and infrastructure portfolio includes managing the seabed out to the 12 nautical mile territorial limit. ??
  • The body has the right (given by whom?) to explore and utilise the resources of the UK Continental Shelf, apart from oil, gas and coal.
  • It has the right to license renewable energy in the form of offshore wind, wave and tidal power. What?
  • Its rural and coastal portfolio covers about half of Scotland’s foreshore, where it manages about 800 aquaculture leases and 5,000 moorings. eh?
  • It also controls 42,000 hectares of rural Scotland, including the Glenlivet, Fochabers, Applegirth, Stirling and Whitehill estates. what the fuck?

Over the past 5 years the Crown Estate has been selling off Scotland, “The Crown Estate is a significant landowner and rural landlord in Scotland “. However, it is still an anomaly that – post-devolution – the Crown Estate commissioners are not accountable to Scotland’s communities. “I have met with Highlands and Islands local authorities and know they believe Scotland is missing out on revenue and income generated from our seabed. Importantly, the Crown Estate is the only public body that currently stands to accrue a direct benefit from offshore development and our massive offshore renewable potential.

Do whale carcasses beached on Crown Estate foreshore belong to The Crown Estate?

No. Whales, amongst other species, are part of what is known as ‘Royal fish‘, and when beached, theoretically The Queen can claim ownership. In practice however, is it dealt with by a government or local agency, dependent on the location of the whale.

Since the late 1980’s the Crown Estate have also supported a policy of conservation by retaining coastal netting stations in hand and un-let, in order to preserve fishing on game estates and prevent poor people from fishing for food. Scottish people starve while their resources are harvested.

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

This is a passage from ‘In The “Heart of Darkness” by Nigerian Olu Oguibe, it has significance here as Nigeria is a former British Colony and displays certain parallels with current colonisation of Scotland and the invented history and traditions.

It is evidence of the arrogance of occidental culture and discourse that even the concept of history should be turned into a colony whose borders, validities, structures and configurations, even life tenure are solely and entirely decided by the West. This way history is constructed as a validating privilege which it is the West’s to grant, like United nations recognition, to sections, nations, moments, discourses, cultures, phenomena, realities, peoples. In the past fifty years, as occidental individualism grew with industrial hyperreality, it has indeed become more and more the privilege of individual discourse and schools of thought to grant, deny, concede, and retract the right to history. Time and history are no longer given. indeed history is to be distinguished from History, and the latter reserved for free market civilisation, which , depending on the school of thought, would either die or triumph with it. ”

The following passage is from a text by Brazilian artist Hélio Oiticica (July 26, 1937 – March 22, 1980). I would hope any Scottish artists or observers may find this interesting. Art is no longer an instrument of intellectual domination, can no longer be used as something ‘supreme’ unattainable, as pleasure for the whisky drinking bourgeois or the speculative individual: the only art of the past which will remain is that which can be apprehended as direct emotion, what can release the individual from his oppressive conditioning, giving him a new dimension which responds to his behaviour. The rest will fall, since it was an instrument of domination. One thing is definite and certain: the search for the supra-sensorial, for man’s life experiences, is the ‘discovery of will’, through which the ‘experimental exercise of liberty’ (Pedrosa), by the individual to which it opens itself. The “5 Stars Movement” is not a political party nor does it have the goal of becoming one in the future. It seeks being an avenue for achieving an effective exchange of ideas and democratic debate using the Internet as the means of communications normally assigned to political representatives.

Independence for Scotland.

Free high speed internet access for all citizens.

End political and economic corruption.

E-Voting, whereby citizens may have more input to important collective decisions.

Decriminalisation of prohibited drugs and health care rather than criminal justice.
